About Find My Train Bangladesh
An independent live tracker for Bangladesh Railway trains.
Where the positions come from
Passengers who use the Find My Train Android app can share their location from on board. Each shared position is matched to the train’s route and turned into a point between two stations. That is why a train only appears while someone on board is sharing.
On the map, trains are drawn along the railway lines from OpenStreetMap. Because the underlying position is a fraction between two stations, the exact spot on the track is an estimate, usually within a few hundred metres to a couple of kilometres.
Where the timetable comes from
Schedules, stops and weekly off days come from the data bundled with the app (revision 153). Bangladesh Railway can change times, add special trains or cancel services, especially around Eid and public holidays. Always confirm on the official site before you travel.
What delay means
The delay shown on a train page compares the time of the latest position with the scheduled time at that point on the route. Under five minutes counts as on time. The figure is an estimate, not an official announcement.
